تقوم هيئة الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات بتنظيم قطاع الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات في المملكة، وتمثل خدمة الإنترنت إحدى الخدمات التي تقوم بتنظيمها الهيئة. وقامت الهيئة بإنشاء هذا الموقع ليكون بوابة لخدمة الإنترنت في المملكة ومرجع للعديد من الخدمات والإحصائيات والمعلومات عن هذه الخدمة.
